Billy Joe Patterson Billy Joe Patterson, age 78 of Wellington, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Wellington. May 30 at the First United Methodist Church with Mr. Billy Joe was born June 16, 1935 in the Buckcreek Community of Collingsworth County to G. C., Top, George, Leon, Kenneth and John Patterson; and by three sisters Lillian Williams, Hazel Guill and Ruby Brown. Mike was born to Robert and Anna Beth Dodson Barjenbruch in Wellington where he was raised and began his farming career with family. He married Julie Ann Allman August 16, 1975 while they were in college. He returned to college and graduated with an additional degree in industrial technology and engineering from the University of Houston in 1996. Mary Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred White; and a sister, Lona Barton. Burial was in North Fairview Cemetery with arrangements by Adams Funeral Home. He married Mary Nell Birchfield on August 27, 1954 in Clovis, N. He worked for the Texas Animal Health Commission from 1971 until he retired in 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, A. Mary Nell White Mary Nell White, age 85 of Claude, died Thursday, May 8, 2014. May 12 in Claude Church of Christ with Jim Yates officiating. She married William Alfred White on November 23, 1947 in Wellington. A longtime member of the Church of Christ, Tillie enjoyed taking care of her pecan trees and tending to her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. and Clara Neese Lockhart in Wellington where he was a lifetime resident. Together, they had two sons, Calvin and Faron, and a daughter, Doris. Travis was self-employed in construction and a cattleman all his life. Travis was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, La Fern Riley, Emma Lee Herring, Eldon Lockhart, Maudine Judd and Velda Brown; and two grandchildren, Travis Lee De Voss in 1986 and Angel Ranell De Voss in 1988. Etta Faye Stahl Etta Faye Stahl, age 74 of Wellington, formerly of Amarillo, died Friday, May 16, 2014 in Wellington. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Survivors include a son, Wendell Stahl of Wellington; two daughters, Bobbie Stahl of Arizona and Rhonda Vanhuss of Tennessee; a sister, Barbara Savage of Borger; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Dan was a Mason from an early age and a 48 year member of the Shrine.
