Garmin problem keeps updating traffic receiver Video ciat sex
For me, the map didn't work the first time I installed it on my 1390T. Had to delete the map download from my computer and start over from scratch and it worked for me.
Even with the phone connected to it, it's nagging me about the cable every few minutes.
The traffic settings show it unable to find a service (just keeps searching).
Any thoughts what I should do (already tried factory reset because of another issue..help) A while back, Garmin "Tweaked" the operating system code so that an insufficient/lower voltage to the unit would trigger the message. My 3597 occasionally will give me the message - it didn't before they changed the code. Make sure that the battery is fully charged and/or the engine is running. Wait a few seconds and then place the 2699 in the mount or cradle.
Try this: Turn off the 2699 by using the Power Button (not by disconnecting power). Even the above steps fail for me sometimes, but I haven't seen the message in a long time.
If the socket for the 2699 is "Switched" then maybe all you will have to do is unplug the cord before turning the car on and plug it in after it is running.
I don't know what it's thinking when I'm coming back and wants to take a route 25 miles out of the way that's 7 minutes longer than what it's suggested in the past.
Dunno what the heck happened with that last update but now my Garmin (2699) is constantly complaining that the traffic cable is incorrect and I need to use the "correct" one.
Worked fine before so I don't know what's going on now.
The reason the 2699 might act different from the 3597 when powered without the bundled power adapter is that the 2699 has the traffic receiver built into the device with only the antenna in the LT20 power adapter, while the 3597 uses the GTM-60 traffic receiver/power adapter.
Since the 2699 has an internal traffic receiver, that makes it more likely that there is a problem inside the GPS, unless the source of power has low voltage.

Even what it wanted to do this morning was just as idiotic (and it's been hard reset when I tried to fix the traffic). In reading back through your posts, I didn't see that you have done a master reset since the map update.
